Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Magma Gemstone

The Problem:

Currently, the Magma Cubes do not have that great of a use. They give little experience, and as well only drop one item: the Magma Cream.

Magma Cream's only use is to create fire resistance potions. The demand for fire resistance is not always that high, and many players have not even used fire resistance in their worlds often. The use for fire resistance is limited, as there is no need to dance in flames or bathe in lava. Of course there are unhappy accidents, involving being pushed into the lava, which is the only use I can find for fire resistance other than building and such.

The Solution:

Introducing a new drop from Magma Cubes would be a great addition. Due to their new custom biome in 20w15a, the option to get magma cream is incredible! But without the best use of magma cream, there should be something that these players are looking for... Just like the Drowned only drop rotten flesh, there is a chance for them to drop useful items such as Nautilus Shells and Tridents.

As Magma Cubes have full permanent resistance to flame, why not add an item that manages to give players permanent fire resistance? Or, if not that, then permanent vision in the lava? Fire resistance potions can be used then, with allowed vision in the lava so players can navigate if need be... Though permanent fire resistance would be preferred rather than vision!

Though this item drop should be rare of course. Very, very rare. This will promote grinding, which will promote the Magma Cube mob!

    Since I hit the character limit, I wanted to add something!

    This said gemstone should be crafted with the rare mob drop from the Magma Cubes. As well as that, make it difficult to use! For example, make it so you have to craft a specific Netherite chestplate with it, or similar. This will even out the power of the permanent fire resistance by making it difficult to achieve!
