In the old days of minecraft, the combat system was quite different. There were no weapon cooldowns, no sweeping edge, and no shields. To use a sword, all you had to do was use your main attack button repeatedly in quick succession, making it much easier to kill mobs. But then, 1.9 came out, destroying the old combat system in favor of a new, more timing based system. Due to this update, a new threat arose. The Baby Zombie. As the fastest hostile (non-boss) mob in the game, The Baby Zombie is incredibly difficult to kill, even more so nowadays. Originally, to kill a Baby Zombie, all you had to do was spam your attack button while looking at it. But now, with the cooldowns, Baby Zombies are even harder to kill, as they can run at you and attack before your sword is recharged. For players with low health or minimal armor, this mob is devastating. I, for one, have had enough. I propose the following two updates to the Baby Zombie: Number one, slow it down. The Baby Zombie is incredibly fast, and can attack faster than even skeletons from about 10 blocks away. I suggest that you half it’s speed to allow player’s swords to recharge. Number two, I suggest that the damage done by the Baby Zombie is also reduced, as it is a miniature version of the normal Zombie, and it only makes sense for a smaller version of something to do less harm than the larger version. Thank you for considering this suggestion, and continue the amazing work.
