Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sugar Rockets

The same thing as firework rockets but they have a shorter boost power/time for the elytra and they use sugar instead of gunpowder.

    Hello, I also just thought of this idea and I think the recipe should include coal too:

    1 sugar + 1 paper + 1 coal = 1 sugar rocket.

    Reasons to have it:

    • You can craft it in peaceful mode (despite no End access to get elytras)

    • You do not have to farm hostile mobs like creepers/witches/ghasts to get large amounts of rockets

    • You are able to make lots of rockets with this method without making it easier to craft TNT

    • The weaker boost is useful for when you want small boosts (such as when in small spaces)

    Details:

    • Let sugar rockets have half the boost of the weakest firework rockets and the same stack size of 64. This way, gunpowder rockets are still superior.

    • Using sugar as the fuel makes sense because sugar rockets exist already.

    • The coal in the recipe is the rocket oxidizer (as coal powder) but it also makes the recipe not simply depend on sugarcane (and become too easy).

    • Sugar rockets cannot be made into fireworks (hence gunpowder rockets are again better)

    • Sugar rockets have low damage when fired from crossbows
