Strider Dens and Eggs

A small basalt cave located along expanses of land by lava seas. In this cave is a large pool of lava. Both adult and baby striders will spawn within these dens, striders that. After the striders are breed together one will return to its home den to lay eggs. These eggs are capable of being mined with a silk touch pickaxe. Striders that hatch within these dens will always return to a den. Striders will lay up to 1-2 eggs at a time.

    I think that other Nether mobs intentionally try to step on these eggs and if you protect them they drop Scales when they grow which can be crafted to make Lava boots that don’t give you an protection but allow you to walk on lava with ease.

    I thought that striders were mammals.😅
