Cots

Now it makes sense to disregard this idea entirely I completely understand but let's first look at why this is necessary: Sheep do not spawn naturally in jungles, badlands or deserts. This is derived from the fact that 1. Sheep spawn in grassy biomes (ruling out the desert, and the badlands) and 2. They are not one of the listed mobs that naturally generate in jungle biomes. My guess for reason number two is either because it is by design they do not spawn in jungles or that jungle biomes are too dense to support such wooly creature's free roam habits. Now to be fair, this is not the end of the world. Generally you can find sheep in a neighboring biome. However, Jungles and badlands especially, sometimes the desert/ jungle/ badlands biome you're in can be absolutely massive essentially meaning trekking across such terrain just to find sheep can take entire Minecraft days and maybe even weeks. So, here is where cots come in. Cots, the way I propose it, could be composed of naturally generating materials in these sheep-less biomes (I do understand it takes at least one night to get string but it can take longer to find wool and I'm still open to other ideas here).

I really hope that this gets considered because I understand personally how hard it can be to find wool and it'd be so cool to see this happen

They could be hammocks, which have to be placed on the underside of blocks and come in leaf, carpet, vine, and net/string varieties.

The carpet form is for aesthetics only.

The string form is to make a bed before you get iron.

The leaf and vine forms are also for asthetics, but would look really good in a treehouse or tree fort.
