Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Randomly Grown Golden Carrots

Planted carrots could have a rare chance to grow golden carrots. The golden carrots could also give off some light.

    I think it is something that come out of a fairy tale. Minecraft isn't going for realism but is there any explanation how and why carrot is capable of remolding gold into golden carrot ? obviously it won't be in naturally generated farm because gold ore generate on low Y coord .

    I think this is a great idea but they should be randomly generated in the soulsand valley instead of your own farm it would be unrealistic the random generated golden carrots would be the same design of normal carrots just the golden carrot colors but cannot be replanted

    Why stop there? Why not add Glistening Melons, Golden Apples, or one of my own ideas, GOLDEN POTATOES.

    (Every other plant seems to have a golden version, why not potatoes? (Can be used for resistance potions)).
