Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

block item dropping off ledges

When building horizontal scaffolding with things like dirt, it's a pain to take down because i don't want to lose any blocks, forcing me to go down to where they dropped, or if it's in the nether, there's a high chance i just lost many many blocks to lava. I suggest that when breaking blocks, the item that drops from it falls onto any blocks surrounding it directly if there are any, and if not fall towards the closest block below it.
