Void Portals & Books

I think it would be cool if books could be thrown into nether portals to create completely empty dimensions (just like pure void except for the portal) because it would allow for a lot of cool builds.

A quite empty dimension already exist in minecraft , it's called "The end" , well , not quite empty , but there is no floor and ceiling bedrock so if you break all block outside the main island , it will be "empty" .
