There should be a way to set a negative radius and negative delta coordinates. I know you can currently type a negative number in, but it just acts like a positive number.
A negative radius would work like this: the command would affect everything outside of that area. Anything inside the area wouldn't be affected.
Ex: Let's say I want to give everyone outside of spawn a diamond. If I set the radius to -50, it will give everyone outside of a 50 block area a diamond.
Negative delta coordinates would work similar, but with the way delta coords usually work.
Ex: I want to make a particle effect where the particles are thicker/start at the edges instead of the center. I set the dx, dy, and dz to -1. With the use of negative d-coords, the particles would now start at the edges rather than starting at the center.
This would be useful in mapmaking and I think it would make things a whole lot easier for certain builds.
