Fishing rod Enchantment

So I had the idea of possibly adding a new enchantment called "Cast" or "casting", something along those lines. What each level would do (3 levels, cast I, cast II, and cast III) is increase the casting length of the fishing rod by a 3rd of its original max length. So at cast I it would be one-third of the original max length longer, cast II would be two thirds longer, and cast III would be 1 full length longer. What would this do or how would this benefit the Minecraft community? The added length would help players who would like to fish from their houses while located maybe just out of reach of the water, maybe the house is on a cliff for example and the water is at the bottom of the cliff. The added length would also help those players who use fishing rods to pull mobs around for herding or trapping. Added distance could mean the added time for the player to get out of possibly a hostile mobs way that they were trapping. I think its a novel addition that players like myself would genuinely enjoy and utilize.

    That could be extra useful for the pvp mini-games on servers to catch a fleeing opponent

    I don't see how it would be too useful, as you wouldn't be able to see the fish attach to the pole, unless you have a spyglass. If the fishing rod had an animation for when it is being pulled it could work better.

    I like this. It sounds like it might be pretty much useless for actual fishing but I'm positive that the pvp gods will find it useful.

    Also useful if an enchantment is added to pull yourself to blocks.
