So I saw the new striders, and they’re pretty cool. However, I couldn’t help but make a suggestion: aging. Looking at the striders, it seems like if there are any shores that aren’t at the lava height, you can’t get off of them. So, I think that the older a strider gets, the longer its legs get, and the higher it stands. Their hair will become fuller as they age as well. There are three stages to aging:
-Youthful: the current mob we have now
-Wisened: two blocks high now, with more hair. Has less health than the youthful strider. Additionally, its speed will be 1.5x the speed of the youthful strider.
-Elder: This one is five blocks tall, and has some unique features. This one has small, stubby forearms (kinda like a t-Rex). Additionally, this one has a full mane of hair and two small, stubby horns. It does not need a saddle or warped fungi on a stick to be controlled, either. It runs double the speed of the youthful one as well. However, it has even less health.
Striders will not age unless they cannot despawn. It takes one real-time hour to age by one stage.
This may seem strange, but I think that this can increase the diversity of the striders!
