Did Fido just bite the dust to a skeleton? Did you accidentally hit Sassy Pants with your Sharpness V sword? Well too bad this isn't going to help with that specifically, but do you want to prevent another tragedy from happening again? Well, with just four Crying Obsidian in a ring shape and with glowstone in the middle you can get yourself a Crying Obsidian Collar (Respawn Collar). Just slap it on your best friend, and now if they slip into a lava pit they'll be right back at your feet just like that. Just remember to click on your pet with a piece of Glowstone afterwards to refill, you wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them in the meantime. Another thing that's extra cool about the collar is that the purple liquid in the cracks of the collar will change to the color of whatever your pet's last collar was, so if your pet had a green collar the liquid will be green. Oh, and one last thing, if your pet respawns in the Overworld or End it might create some sparks, so be ready to put out the occasional small fire.
