Have you ever wanted to farm in the Nether? The only problem with that is water instantly evaporates as soon as it's placed in the Nether, so your only efficient option is to bonemeal it over and over again. No longer, with only 5 Iron, 2 Glass Panes, a piece of Blue Ice and a Bucket you can have yourself a Water Vat (Format down below). A Water Vat is much like a cauldron where it has three water levels, one of which must be filled to begin irrigating crops. A Water Vat can also be filled with a dispenser holding a water bucket for automation, which means you don’t have to spend as much time maintaining it. A Water Vat is very much like a water source when it comes to irrigating crops, place it down in the middle and it will begin boosting crop growth. The only difference is that a Water Vat can reach even further than a normal water source, reaching 6 blocks in any direction. However, it takes only 30 minutes for one level of the Water Vat to go down meaning a fully filled Water Vat will only continue work for an hour and a half. When empty, a Water Vat will no longer irrigate crops but will keep any empty, tilled farmland from turning back into dirt.
