Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Waystones: ender pearl transportation

Waystones could look like a enchantment table and lectern had a baby, it would be cool with ender particals too. Crafted with obsidian, diamond, ender pearls, and a compass. Hud would look similar to an enchantment table. Put an ender pearl in the slot to use the waystone, the slots on the side would allow you to choose what other waystone you would like to teleport to. Waystones only allow you to teleport to other waystones in the same dimension, in other words, you can't use an overworld waystone to teleport to an end or nether waystone. Anyone in your world can use the waystone, it is not exclusive to specific players like the ender chest is. There should be a Max of 10 Waystones per dimension.

    One way of implementing waystones is by having them be two different blocks, the main one being the waystone gate, and the secondary one being the waystone terminal. A gate is an end game item powered by placing above a beacon. The gate can teleport players to closeby terminals or far away gates.

    Another way of powering the waystone would be with a type of amethyst placed in the waystone interface. Waystones can teleport based on what stage the amethyst is in. The higher the concentration of amethyst placed, the further the player can travel. For example, 500 blocks per stage of amethyst.
