Lodestone maps

Lodestone compasses are a really cool edition and as a map maker I love them, but as a survival player they aren't that useful. In survival Minecraft the compass use to only point to world spawn, and for me this wasn't that much less useful than the new lodestone compasses, as from world spawn I usually know my way back to my house, I can see where it is useful. But I think it could be even better used in conjunction with maps. The cartography table only has one use and that is to upgrade maps, what if instead you could put a map in and a compass, and much like how banners can be right clicked with a map lodestones could be aswell, you could select a lodestone on the map and have the compass point to it. This allows for getting the directions you need even if you are on the other side of a map and you could swap between where you need to go with just a cartography table.
