Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ice mushrooms

Add blue icy mushrooms into cold biomes that have a light level of 4, much like blue ice does. Use bonemeal to grow them into giant icy mushrooms! Giant icy mushrooms could also have their own unique biome. Ice mushrooms could be used to make a potion of freezing, which will freeze the consumer for about 5 seconds or so, this would be great as a splash or lingering potion or as arrows, perfect for fighting ghasts, withers, and other fast moving targets. The cold biomes are kind of plain and need more stuff in them.

    I like this idea. I think these large fungi would make great additions for my idea of a Icy Nether Biome.
