Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Craft Smooth Quartz in Stonecutter!

Stonecutters don't have a lot of functionality right now that you can't already do with a crafting table, and smelting quartz into smooth quartz is a pain, especially since there isn't a special furnace for it. Smooth quartz is such a nice block too. The same goes with smooth stone, especially since the crafting recepie was removed in 1.14
