Willagers a Fox loving People

I had an idea for a variant of villagers called willagers.
Willagers spawn in groups of two in a structure of they're own called: Willager's Cottage. It's like the witches hut's equivalent. The cottages spawn in taiga biomes and it's variants.

The cottage has a small side garden with berry bushes in them. The willagers harvest the berries, when they're mature.
Willagers don't take damage from bushes but are still slowed by them. Foxes spawn near the cottage and are always trusting toward willagers, and they in turn, feed them berries.

Willager's cottage spawns if possible near rivers or lakes. If they do spawn near a body of water, willagers (which there are always two of) split chores between the two of them, one tends the garden and the other fishes. They sleep at night in the same room in different beds.

The cottage spawns with a spacial banner design (not a new pattern, just a specific banner pattern combination) which is hang on a fence at the edge of the garden.

    i enjoy this idea! cats spawn in the usual villager towns, why not have a special place for foxes?

    perhaps the "Willager's Cottages", as you call it, would generate in the different variants of the taiga biomes, to keep in line with the spawn pattern of the foxes.

    I think this would be fitting in a cherry blossom biome; I believe there is somewhere you can go in Japan (or another Asian region if I'm mistaken) where domesticated foxes roam around, and tourists can interact with them.

    AntacidCave7722, Well I thought 'what name can I give them that close enough to not sound like an illager' and then I came up with willager. Actually the double-you gave me the idea for them to be two of them, the two v's that form the double-you made me think of 2 so I made it so. (vv) Like a double villager.

    I love this idea! Also, willagers seems like kind of a weird name. Maybe something different, like "Naturalists" or something. Idk. But I LOVE the idea
