Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Scaled enchantments

Lower durability armor gets higher level enchantments via enchanting table only. If diamond gear gets protection 3 then iron could get protection 4, gold 5 and leather or chainmail 6. Some gear like leather and chainmail is never used this would give players a reason to use what is viewed as otherwise useless gear. Think of the possibilities of a fortune 5 gold pickaxe.
