In Snapshot 20w12a we lost zeroticking. Agreeably it was a severe exploit, and agreeably these materials can be farmed in a less insane way too. But it's just not viable for technical minecraft. So why not add a compromise: a super expensive way to farm at ridiculous speed.
Imagine a structure, hidden in the depths of the End Islands, only marked by a few, not very obvious signs such as endermites sometimes spawning in the vicinity. Digging down you find a dungeon, with meanish endermen and maybe, possibly, other mobs. This Dungeon also contains a valuable treasure: a fertilizer for crops that allows them to grow at a rate of one growth attempt per redstone tick.
I believe this could settle the problems around zeroticking: tech players want it because its inarguably the only viable way to fuel certain automatic farms that does not involve duplicating. but it's extremely overpowered and low-effort/high-yield.
