Currently, once a Villager gets to its Master tier, that's it. They don't get anything else, don't progress any further, nothin. And while I don't think that's bad, and I'm not suggesting they change that necessarily, I think it could be cool if there was, a bit more.
Once a Villager reaches Master level, it would then be able to change its profession to a higher level of its current one. All Workstations for these Master Professions would be things only found through crafting.
2 examples I've thought of for this are the Enchanter and Master Smith.
You would get the Enchanter by giving a Master Librarian an Enchanting Table. This Villager would trade lots of different Enchanted Books (maybe even ones that are not obtainable through the Enchanting Table) and other Enchanted items.
You would get the Master Smith by giving a Master Tool Smith, Weapon Smith, or Armor Smith an Anvil. This Villager would be able to trade anything the base 3 can trade, and would provide iron, gold, and diamond gear.
These Master Villagers would have all the same profession tiers as normal Villagers, but would provide more trades, and better ones at that.
