Add the ability to change the size limitation of structure blocks in a given world.
From what I recall during the addition of structure blocks, the limit was made to keep saving/loading times of these structures down to a minimum. I think that makes sense. But what if the creator of a world doesn't care?
I'm building a city. I love the changes to terrain I'm hearing about! I'm 2+ years into my city (on/off as an adult, mind you) and I don't want to restart all over again (this is my 2nd city).
As someone playing on a local singleplayer world, I don't want to give up my city just to see newly changed terrain around & within it. I might as well give up. I don't want to setup some 100+ structure blocks to save individual pieces only to figure out how to reassemble them (there's no preview, btw).
To save my Cathedral, I would gladly wait 30 minutes (I'll admit it's oversized). To save The Wrinkly Old Crone bar & pub, I'll gladly wait 5 minutes. To save my city Library yet to be named, I'll gladly wait 8 minutes! To save my Super Mario Bros 3 themed storage system, I'll GLADLY wait 10 minutes! ... This is a local save. If it's not feasible, I wish I understood why because it doesn't make any sense to me!
BTW: My city is next to a Extreme Hills biome which the Cathedral and some of the Library currently rests upon.
