Bats & Bat Soup

Bats in Minecraft should drop 1 raw bat once killed. The Bat could be used in some potion brewing but that's for a different feedback. If you try to eat Raw Bat there should be a 80% chance of getting the hunger or the nausea effect. You will have to cook the bat to get "Cooked Bat" and then you can get eat that to restore 1.5 hunger points, but there is still a 2% chance of getting Nausea. Furthermore you can combine the Cooked bat with either a red and a brown mushroom, or a carrot and a potato to get Bat soup and that will restore 3 hunger points but will still get the 2% chance of getting Nausea.

So does that mean that bat meat is kind of like a cross between chicken and rabbit? What would you suggest for the food points regained by eating bat meat?
