-What they look like
Burnt’s look like skeletons for the most part, but some of their bone is charred as if it was withered. Instead of a ragged robe, like the stray has, the burnt has a patchy and broken red hat, similar to a farmer’s hat.
-where they spawn
Burnt’s spawn in hot biomes, deserts, mesas, etc, but not in the nether, since there is already a Skelton variant there. They spawn rarer than skeletons
-What do they do?
Keeping with the general theme of skeleton variations, Burnt’s will shoot arrows of harming 2 instead of slowing you or doing nothing. They drop an arrow of ID 2 and bones. Trust me, you won’t want to run into them.
-Why this?
Burnt’s do a lot of damage to you, and I mean a lot. Without armor, they do around upwards of 8 hearts. This seems like a lot, but they do have a difference to other monsters that balance this out. Burnt’s also prioritize making a shield before you enter mid game content, and armor too, to a lesser extent.
-Whats the difference?
Instead of shooting at you, they will spend 40% of their arrows shooting at other monsters. In some cases this can be beneficial to you, but for the most part, it won’t. Undead mobs (phantoms, zombies, skeletons) will all be healed by this arrow, since it has instant damage. If I’m right, they’ll probably be healed about 4 hearts but I’m not sure. This does include non-undead mobs, too, so If you can capture them, they will kill many mobs. -thanks!
