When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Insulated Redstone

Redstone has problems. This fixes some problems. The insulated redstone is a block that has a signal on both ends. When placed on a block, it will connect to other insulated redstone blocks. It can go up and down and left and right. It's more of a directional redstone function. We don't have any redstone functions that go directly up (save sticky pistons and a redstone block, or observer blocks that go up [even though that's a quick signal]). This would be the revolution of redstone. It would connect to any redstone thing too. The texture needs a red hole or something with stone around it. Anyways, I know this sounds really bland, but it's on the point of what exactly it should be. A block that focuses redstone onto something else without connecting other redstone to it (except at the open ends). No secondary redstone needed, this fixes that.

    THIS WOULD BE SO HELPFUL! I was trying to make a sugar cane farm where the system would react to one sugar cane growing and destroy that one. The redstone kept connecting horizontally and triggering all of the pistons. It was frustrating.

    Love this idea. I'd really like to see this with a "repeater" style function built in variant so it not only allows you to direct the signal but extend the range and allow delays at the same time. This would also solve space problems where you need to get a signal to a system without overcrowding other things or leaving gaping holes that expose the workings of your contraptions. Man, I like this idea so much it's a shame I can't vote twice! Awesome!
