A concept photo of what the biome could look like, but on a smaller scale
Description: This biome would spawn in the nether, and be about as rare as the soul sand valley. It would be made up of netherrack, with a lot of nether quartz ore scattered throughout the biome. There would also be quartz crystals, which would stick out of the ground and would drop 1-2 nether quartz when broken with a pick, unless you use silk touch. There would also of course be the most noticeable feature of the quartzited trees. These trees have a special quartzited wood that makes up the base of the tree, with quartzited crystal blocks as the leaves, which would be a new transparent block. These trees would not drop any form of sapling, but rather you could either bone meal a quartz crystal, not have any sapling at all, or maybe have some other way to regrow these.
Mobs: Ghasts would commonly circle overhead the biome, but all of the quartzited blocks would be immune to ghast fire balls. Possibly a new mob could also reside here as well, like a quartzited piglin or skeleton, but I won't dive too much into detail.
Resources: There would of course be an abundance of quartz in this biome, and also the new quartzited blocks, which are mostly for decoration, but could be(maybe) crafted into a plank varient, which would just look like oak wood but crystalized over in a white hue. These planks could craft stairs and slabs, and all the material would require a pickaxe to mine.
