Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adding Uranium

Uranium would appear as a lime green colored ore buried deep in the ground or end. This ore could be then smelted to make (metallic) Uranium ingots. These ingots would be nearly black in color with some silver scratches on them; this would be to mimic real Uranium. 

These ingots could be crafted into blocks nuggets etc.

However don't let this innocent looking thing fool you, once close to the block, ore, or any item containing Uranium, you will experience nausea and slowly take damage after minutes of exposure. 

Any Uranium containing object glows green in the dark.

Which is why adding it to torches or glass could give those items a soothing green glow. 

Uranium tools and armor would harm the player if worn/held unless if they are given a special enchantment. The armor when worn, would damage mobs in a 3 block radius to you.

    It would be cool to have more high risk/ high reward mechanics in Minecraft, and this could be a perfect way to do it. To balance their negative effects, the tools should mine very very fast. I think the end would be the best place for it, as it would greatly benefit from an ore. It would further incentivize end travel and give much needed variety

    I would like this because I quite like nuclear reactors and I am currently building one so this would be great for me to have access to in minecraft. Btw I play bedrock/ console edition.
