Dye has always been a hassle to obtain in large amounts, especially those that are only tied to flowers. I suggest a new plant named the Spectrum berry bush.
The Spectrum berry bush generates in the Nether, specifically the Nether Wastes. It is the same as the berry bush in how it grows and is harvested, but it has the ability to come in 16 different colors, one for each dye. You can change that color by using dye on it when placed. The berries change color, not the whole plant. When it is fully grown, it can be manually harvested or when sheep eat it. It drops 2-4 dye of the color it is has been given. To collect it, mine it (hoe is quickest) and it drops a Spectrum berry. It too has 16 color variants, and that color is determined by the color of the bush before collection. When planted, it makes the respective color bush.
The significance behind the Spectrum berry bush Is that it makes the process of collecting dyes much easier and resource-efficient. Because sheep can harvest it like foxes do with regular berries, it can make the process automated, allowing all dyes to be farmed without the use of bonemeal or other methods. This makes dye usage, especially colors which don't have easy methods to obtain such as yellow, much more viable in large builds. Also, since the Nether Update is rolling around soon, this would be perfect to add as a nether plant because it is weird enough to fit in the Nether.
