Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Flint Block

I believe you should add a flint block because I just amassed over a stack of flint and I have no idea what to do with it

    This sounds like it could also be a great building block with a nice texture too. More variations of stone-like blocks are always welcome

    Maybe fires lit on it would never go out on their own similar to netherrack. Just an additional feature to add some use besides decoration

    Flint blocks could burn fire eternally like how netherrack does, allowing for fires to be made without having to use the netherrack texture.

    Scraping an iron block away from a flint block with a piston creates fire where the iron block was.

    I saw someone show off a flint block that when a block of iron moves adjacent to it (from a piston), the flint sparks and lights the space where the iron was. This could be interesting for redstone contraptions
