So we all know the Aether wont be in vanilla minecraft. But adding Aetherite can still be a thing.
Aetherite is a ingot thats exactly the same as netherite, only except its the light version of it. This is the perfect idea when it comes to Dark vs Light.
What is Aetherite however?
Well theres really no difference between Aetherite and Netherite. Both armor and tools has the same durability. Theyre both equal to each other and they deal the same damage to each other. However they come from separate places.
Where can you find it?
Ancient Debris still comes from the nether so you still have to explore the nether to collect it. But if you have your collection. There would be a new item for the end called Lumen Bars. Lumen Bars are crafted with a end rod surrounded by 4 diamonds and 4 iron ingots. Of course you would still need netherite scraps. After crafting, instead the ingot turning grayish black, the netherite turns into a glowing ingot with a lightish yellow aura surrounding it, Making it pure. Tools and armor becomes white and yellow.
Any changes?
Aetherite however can burn from lava (or not your choice) But from the purest of the armor, it gives you fall resistance (like boots with wings). This isnt really a advantage against netherite but it makes sense to have fall resistance to it since the armor is pure.
I think this would be good idea to add. And im being honest here. Not alot of people like the evil look of the netherite armor. This can decide if you wanna join the light side or the dark side. Please let this happen and I hope I get any replies from this. Alonzo910~
