Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Trapped Shroomlight

Despite being a very dangerous place, the Nether isn't getting many dangerous blocks for the Nether update. The overworld has cacti and sweet berry bushes, but the Nether doen't have any dangerous "plants" for example. There should be a trapped shroomlight, which makes Nether trees more difficult to mine. Trapped shroomlights rarely spawn in place of normal shroomlights, and would be green instead of yellow. When a crimson/warped log is moved or mined within 6 blocks of a trapped shroomlight, it will fall, and explode when it hits the ground. This explosion won't harm blocks, but will spread poison within 6 blocks of it, affecting players and mobs for up to 15 seconds. This block has redstone uses, as a trapped shroomlight won't fall if on top of a block, but will still update observers facing it. It can only be mined safely with shears or silk touch.

    Great idea i would love to see this in the nether update! Though i think it should spread wither not poison. And drop glowstone when it explodes

    I was thinking wither too, but I think it would be too overpowered for a block that can be dropped/launched, even if the duration was shortened. Also poison gives honey a use in the Nether.
