Sirens?

As it stands, the End is pretty boring. So I’m proposing a new mob that I like to call Sirens. A bird-type mob (or maybe even baby Enderdragons!) that, when fed a chorus fruit, will lead the player to the nearest end city and/or escape portal. To make things a little more balanced, I think it would travel quickly and be very easy to lose sight of. Also, they will only guide the player if they have an elytra equipped so that they “blend in” with the mob, sort of like wearing gold armor around the new Piglins. I imagine these mobs nesting in the chorus forests, as it’s their primary food source. Sirens would spawn in flocks or packs, and should be relatively rare. Killing them should not be beneficial to the player, as they’re much more valuable alive than dead. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten lost in the End and just decided to chuck all my valuable gear into an ender chest and hurl myself into the void because I can’t find an exit portal. It would be nice to have some friendly birbs to guide the way home.

    The Sirens should spawn in ocean biomes and have a appearance that is a mix between a mermaid and a harpy.

    Did you know sirens are creatures in Greek mythology that lure sailors to their death and then bite their faces off.

    No, change their names. If sirens did exist in-game, they'd be in the overworld on some island in the middle of the sea, not the end, and they'd be hostile. It's strange to let a face-eating vulture singer lady spawn in the End and lead you through it. Some other creature, maybe, but not sirens.

    I was thinking the same think Orithyus! Although my version is a mix between original sirens and modern sirens. Which would be a mix between a Harpy and a Mermaid.

    They should rather be called Screechers as sirens are from Greek myth.
