Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Tool For Sponges (Hoe)

I believe the Hoe should be the tool of choice for sponges. Seeing as Nethwart blocks, another block made of organic matter, are set to have the hoe as their dedicated tool, I think it only fair that sponge get similar treatment.

There is currently no preferred tool for sponges, and because they are by design a block you will pick up and place many times, this is a great shame.

I would be open to other choices of tool, but for the reason given above, hoes seem like an oddly good fit.

    Hoes should also be the tool of choice for dried kelp blocks as well.
