Netherite Portals

Now I don't want this to sound like one of those forced ideas that some come up with in order to find yet another use for netherite. This spontaneously popped into my head out of necessity.

Netherite portals: They could be built out of a combination of netherite and obsidian or maybe a new block altogether.

Their special feature: Other than normal Nether portals they link up regardless of coordinates.

There could be a new way implemented on how to link them up or this could be limited to only 2 netherite portals per world.

Now the question comes to why you would need this if there is fast transport in the nether?

Well the more you progress in the game the more likely you are to spread out and yes nether transport can be fast but having two bases more than 10k+ blocks apart constantly switchting between them can become a pain in the butt.

The netherite portals would be kinda endgame (as is pretty much everything including ancient debris) but would greatly enhance said endgame experience as not half of your playtime is spent on some ice canal on the top of the nether.
