The Hell Bird, or Nether Bird! This hostile mob would inhabit the Nether, most commonly appearing in the Crimson Forest biome but have the chance to spawn anywhere with five adjacent air blocks in all directions and a light level of 8 or less. These flying beasts would have 4 wings, two parrot-like heads, a long dragon-like tail and would trail red fire particles behind them as they fly around the nether, looking for prey to swoop down on. They would spawn solitary, or in pairs.
This mob shows the traits of both a phantom and ghast, switching between throwing fire charges and doing fiery swooping attack that sets the victim ablaze for 5-10 seconds. Of course, they're made more annoying by the fact that if you're holding any gold item in your hotbar, there is a small chance they'll steal the item from you! Of course, once killed they'll drop the items that they stole beforehand, along with feathers and rarely blaze rods. They're immune to fire and lava, and can't take fall damage.
Because of their gold-stealing habits, Piglins will try to kill any Hell Birds that get within range. As well, Hell Birds will attack Piglin that are hostile towards them. Otherwise, excluding the Player and Piglins, Hell Birds will not go out of their way to attack other mobs. If wearing full gold armor, Hell Birds will see the player from an added 5 blocks away on top of their normal range. However, Netherite armor and invisibility decrease the range that a Hell Bird will spot the player at.
