Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Golden Carrot on a Stick

I think that you should be able to make a golden carrot on a stick, which could be like a regular carrot on a stick, but have more durability than a normal one and when riding a pig, that pig walks about 1.5x or 2x faster than they would with a normal carrot on a stick. It would be crafted the same way as a normal carrot on a stick, but with a golden carrot instead (obviously).

    I had this idea recently when my friends decided to make a race track, and given the addition of horses, pigs have become almost entirely useless as transport. They’re slower than walking and horses are by far the better choice, it’d be nice to see an update that lets pigs catch up a bit to horses.

    I think this is a great idea. To add on to your idea, I think it would also make sense to have the boost speed increased when the pig eats part of the Golden carrot on a stick. That's because, like players eating golden carrots, they are way better than normal carrots.
