Video option: Disable Nether spinning (Nether update or later)

My gf loves this game as much as I do she only has one disability.

She's unable to handle the spinning of the Nether portal when you go through it.

She has seizure issues, and the spinning gives her mild ones.

My solution to anyone who has this problem is an option in "Video settings"

Just an option to turn off the spinning of the Nether portal, when you go into The Nether that it would directly skip to the loading screen just an extra add on for people who may also suffer from seizures and want to play otherwise or get naucious when they want to go to The Nether.

 

Since 1.16 is The Nether update and should help others go into the Nether to explore the new biomes and the new mobs and items, it would be nice if this option would be added for those who need it.

 

Hope you take it into consideration.

    I think a dev once said they wanted to have new video settings that assist those with seeing difficult (i.e colorblindness). I think they'd add this if more players would draw attention to it.

    Ah, yes, the wibbly wobbly effects. I don't think the loading screen should be instant, however, as someone may go through the portal while not wanting to cross worlds. Perhaps a fade in or something?

    Hey! A little late, but if you can install OptiFine, go into the Quality tab under Video Settings, and you can turn down the distortion effects to 0%, and the portal nausea effect is gone! :)
