Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Warped Repellant

A cool addition with the new nether update is that hoglins are repelled by warped fungi. But its really only effective when placed on the ground, and can only be placed on crimson/warped nyliumn.

Seeing a craftable repellent using the fungi would be a nice quality of life inclusion, allowing the player to not be attacked by hoglins for a specific amount of time. This could come in the form of a status effect or something similar to the mechanics used for cats to scare away creepers.

 

Just a thought.

    I like the idea of a potion for this, but for that to be viable, there needs to be a reason to completely avoid hoglins, instead of just killing them.

    This is already in the game it is just the warped fungi
