Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blue Nether Wart +( Lingering) potions

Blue Nether Wart has probably been suggested as we have seen in the first snapshot a red netherwart forest and a blue (cyan) one. Hoe about having a use for the blue nether wart as well?

For example, the lingering potions arent easily optainable in survival. Sure, get Dragons breath while fighting him/her and use your bottles in the purple clouds it spreads..... Yes doable, but not usefull in survival.

My idea: while red nether wart is used to make potions we all know today, have the blue nether wart be used for the same effects, but it will make lingering potions instead of normal / explosive ones. Make it maybe a little more expensive so it uses for example 3 blue netherwart instead of 1 to make the potions.

This will have the blue nether wart getting a use without implementing new potion stuff.

It will also make it a bit easier to get the lingering potions in survival so they can be used if the player wants (because currently I never use those).


Also, blue nether wart could be used to get some rare and new potions like Nether vision to be able to see underneath lava, potion of confusion (when piglins are angry and attack you, throw this potion at them and they are temporarily paralyzed) etc. that kind of stuff.

    Maybe warped nether wart could be used to get negative effects such as the already existing poison, slowness, and harming, as well as things that dont have potions (blindness, wither, nausea, hunger) and new potions that arent currently in-game, such as paralysis/freezing, or a potion similar to Skyrim's "frenzy" (mob attacks any other mob for X amount of time), while the regular nether wart would be used for positive effects?

    I agree, but I would name it warped nether wart. It's more consistent.
