Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Soul stone

Crafting 2 soul sand and 2 soul soil should give you soul stone. This could be made into soul stone bricks, pillars, or other blocks like that, adding another color to the nethers building pallet.

    Maybe this soul stone could generate in the soul sand valley biome in place of netherrack

    Personally I think it should generate in the soulsand valley in place of netherrack, since we don't have a way to get stone tools in the nether

    This could also replace all nether rack in the soul sand valley biome.

    I like that idea. I would like to see soulstone take the place of netherrack in the soul sand valley because it would look much better. Of course, soulstone would be brown, maybe a darker brown, and that idea would make the soul sand valley look more like a biome full of souls.

    In order to get the soul stone, you must go to an altar in the nether and sacrifice one of your pets to obtain it. It gives you the soul master effect, that buffs your health and your damage, and you can cheat death. The ability to cheat death recharges when you die. To get the soul master effect, which gives you these 3 abilities, you must have the stone in your offhand. And there is only 1 altar in the nether, because there is only 1 soul stone.

    Smelting the Soul Sand should give the Stone. Not crafting.

    This should replace Netherack in all Soul Sand Valleys. (I was going to make a post about this; should I?).
