Ancient Vault - A deep, deep structure from a buried civilization

Ancient Vaults would be a new small structure that generated on rare occasions in the Nether, at very low levels where most Ancient Debris is found. They would be composed of Basalt (or perhaps a theoretical building block that you could craft from Basalt?), and would be about Dungeon-sized. They would always contain a single loot chest, containing various relatively valuable and/or Nether exclusive items, including on uncommon occasions a Netherite Scrap or two. This would add some additional intrigue to mining deep in the Nether for debris, and also goes with the theme of a forgotten buried civilization that Ancient Debris seems to suggest.

    Great consept but I think it should be a bit cooler than a normal dungeon? I mean if we're talking about a ancient civilization then it should be at least a little cooler?

    The idea is to go for simplicity. I don't want it to be a major distraction from mining debris, more of like a temporary offshoot involving some additional rewards and a hint of thematic connection. I'm open to it featuring a Spawner since those are rather underutilized these days, but I'm not sure what it would spawn.

    What if instead of being similar to dungeons they were more like mini boss encounters? Like an ancient burial site with a netherite ingot/some netherite scrap and some other valuables guarded by a new Ancient Guard mob? Or possibly an old throne room with an Ancient King/Ancient Prince that has netherite armour and weapons? (but does not drop them)

    I think if there were a spawner it should spawn Zombified Piglins, Magma Cubes, Blazes and Wither Skeletons. Maybe rare chance of a Zoglin Spawner?
