Nether Update: Ghast Gong

This idea was made by SimplySarc but was very interesting and feasible. What if we added a unique block that will soothe the aggressive ghasts in the soulsand valley? This block would only be found in the piglin bastions. Hitting it would make a ethereal sound that will calm any nearby ghast and give you time to make your escape through the valley. This will only last a couple minutes. The face of the gong would look like a ghast and have a very nether tinted design of crimson and black. This would function like bells in villages and might be protected by the piglins as they are not favored by the ghasts either.

    A couple minutes? Thats way to op, it should last twenty seconds, at most. It should also only effect the ghasts within a specific range.

    Great idea but maybe after the effect wears off, the ghasts act super raged in order to balance it?

    It could be crafted with one netherite ingot in the centre and 8 iron ingots around it.
