In my opinion, there is no reason that the new strongest material shouldn't make use of the progression gap that is the end. Making netherite gear require a post-dragon material, preferably dragon's breath, would mean players would have to defeat the game's main boss to acquire the best gear. Honestly, I don't see why gold is even in the recipe. Gold has enough uses already, and it doesn't make sense to use such a brittle material to create the strongest material, especially when it doesn't even make the color closer to gold. I think the recipe for a netherite ingot should be four nether scraps and a bottle of dragon's breath. Additionally, I think ancient debris and nether sraps should both be renamed. Their names are kind of dumb in my opinion; especially nether scraps, which I think should be called netherite clusters and be shaped like a chunk similar to coal or diamond. This isn't as important as making netherite require dragon's breath, though.
