The withered nether biome

So the color of the nether portal is obviously purple but that is the only time we see purple in the nether and since we are getting new biomes I thought of this one. The new blue fire made me think about other fire variants in the nether and so I tried to imagine what kind of biome would have purple fire.

The main block of this biome would be the dark netherack. If you use the flint and stone on it you will get the purple fire. It can also be smelted into dark nether brick which can be crafted into dark nether bricks. Not only fire would be purple but also lava and magma blocks, but these wouldn't be new blocks, they would just have a different color in this biome. Obsidian pillars and lumps would spawn here. And finally wither roses will grow here acompanied by a higher spawn rate of wither skeletons and occasionally wither skulls can be found on the ground. Also withered nylium could grow on dark netherack.

    I think the way to go about this is to instead change the portal color to red. There shouldn't be any purple in the nether because that connects it to the End in a way that really doesn't make any sense. See my post "sever connections between nether and end" for more details.

    i like the idea but i also think ender men should spawn there to

    Good idea, but part of the challenge of summoning the wither is killing wither skeletons to get wither skulls, so I don't think they should be on the ground in this biome.
