Nether fungi renewability with mooshrooms

Currently the crimson and warped fungi are not renewable and making them grow by using bone meal on nylium sounds boring. My idea is similar to the brown and red mushroom renewability breeding and shearing mooshrooms of the correct color. So then the problem is getting crimson and warped mooshrooms, but looking at the current mechanics involving brown mooshrooms and how they eat flowers, so I am suggesting that feeding the nether fungi to a brown mooshroom would turn the mooshroom into a crimson/warped variant depending on the mushroom fed.

    All I know is Crimson/Warped Fungi should be renewable like any tree, any plant or any mushroom.

    what if you have to hit the cow with a weakness potion first than any normal mushroom (red brown crimson warped ) would transform it into the respective mooshroom when fed to it

    Maybe a rare hoglin with fungi, with a crimson and warped hoglin variant per the biomes. These make it renewable by not just dropping 2-5 when they are killed, but by spreading 3-10 around them when bred with a 50-75 percent chance of spreading per breed.
