A Use for upcoming Soul Fire Torches

The upcoming Soul Fire Torches (seen in latest snapshot) could have a use other than looking pretty, they could be used to disable mob spawns in a decent radius around them (the radius that they disable spawns would not be based on light level), this way you could have dark spots in builds (placing soul torches underground and covering them) without having constant mob spawns, this way lighting is not as big as a problem as it is right now in building, and you wouldn't have to spam torches, which ruins the look of many builds in order to keep your buildings safe
