A Rare biome, the rarest in all of the Nether...
The majority of the Biome is “Quartz Powder”, With the Occasional Pillar of Quartz Blocks similar to the basalt pillars. In this biome, packs of “Quartzites” spawn. Crystal flowers called “Desert Jewels” (Or Another Name) spawn occasionally. It will be quite barren, similar to the Soul Sand Valley. The Biome should be relatively small. This may sound like an easy way to get a large amount of Quartz, which it might be, but not having enough Quartz isn’t a problem for most players. Mining Quartz Blocks/Quartz Powder will not give experience either. Other Nether Mobs will not spawn here.
Quartz Powder, this powder can be smelted in a furnace into a single Nether Quartz, or can be used
for more practical purposes. It falls like most powder, but has a special ability. When placed above scaffolding, any “heavy” entity (Like not a Parrot) will trigger the powder to fall when they walk over it. The Scaffolding would be destroyed.
Quartzites, these tiny Arthropods always spawn in groups of 3-8. They run as fast as a player walks, but they can jump two blocks high. They deal only 2 Damage (1 Heart), but have 25 Health (They’re tough guys). They drop only 1 Nether Quartz and a decent amount of experience.
Desert Jewels, this flower drops a little experience when broken by a player. They occur very occasionally on Quartz Powder. I don’t have an idea for their purpose, but I’m sure Mojang could get creative with that.
