Block to "extend" conduit range like a redstone repeater

I think it would be great if there were a block that "resonates" with conduit power and acts like a redstone repeater by
extending the conduit power effect in a radius from the block X distance away. This would make it more feasible to
create a large underwater area that can be breathed in. Of course, this would be a much smaller radius than the original conduit provides and maybe would have a weaker effect (like less/no damage to enemies, maybe less vision, etc). Likely the block would be somewhat easier to come by and create than a full conduit, though not necessarily commonplace either. Prismarine would be fun, but that might be considered too common at ocean monuments (and also composing a full conduit). Maybe something that would use prismarine to be created?
