This would be especially useful if you have a bind on B, or especially if you have a keybind on CTRL+B, or are sneaking with sneak bound to CTRL when pressing a keybind on B. I, for instance may accidentally trigger the narrator when adjusting my Free Runners (modded equipment) mode (bound to B by default) while sneaking (with sneak bound to CTRL).

Fourthing this.  I recently started using Litematica, and with the drastically increased need for keybindings, it's really irritating having hidden, forced keybindings that can't be turned off or changed.

Agreed, why is this command hidden and impossible to modify?

I just tried to remap an overlapping command and ended up accidentally discovering this "feature".  I don't need Narrator nor will anyone who ever uses my computer.  Like the Windows accessibility shortcuts, it should be something I can disable forever at my choosing if the shortcut gets in my way.

I mean who hasn't inadvertently triggered StickyKeys on a Windows PC by holding shift in a game?  The shortcut being there by default is good for those who need it, but not being able to get rid of it is bad for those who don't.

I agree -- I use 'b' as my 'q' "drop item" key, and to drop an entire stack of items, I end up also toggling the narrator.

Every other keybind is customizable, why not CTRL-B?  I'm fine with keeping the default as-is, but I'd like to change it to CTRL-N or something else for me personally.

(I don't like 'q' as my drop item key, because I accidentally drop stuff I care about too often, but I still want it close enough to use quickly when needed, so I suppose this is an "accessibility" issue for me, although my disability is being old and not good at video games.)

It's not even just a problem for people using special keybinds either. I use F3 + B (which can't be moved to anything else) constantly when collecting drops and I normally hold Ctrl for sprinting (the default keybind) to get around while doing so, which turns the narrator on constantly.

I wouldn't care as much if it wasn't so loud when activating, but it's louder than any of the actual in-game sounds are and has gotten me killed by making me unable to hear mobs approaching more times than I would care to admit.

I keep accidentally toggling this on because for some reason Minecraft likes to ignore the fact that I have sticky keys disabled entirely or something, and will assume I'm holding CTRL when I'm not, which makes typing in chat and using the letter B very, very annoying sometimes. Accessibility options are good when they're actually options and not forced or hardcoded to be immutable.

Now, the hotkey can be turned off in Accessibility Settings.

    Works in 1.20.4
