Sub Nether

A dimension you can only access from the Nether.  The sub nether would be 1 block for every 8 blocks in the nether as the nether is to the overworld.  This allows for fast travel of the nether and super fast travel of the overworld.  Just need to go through another set of portals.

  This seems interesting so I would like to get more details like what it would be made of and what it would be like overall (difficulty, mobs, etc.) seems like a cool idea.

  The exact biome(s) of this dimension could be anything.  The dimension rather than the biome is more important as an idea to me.

   

  However if I were to pick something I'd perhaps go with something very dark.  Perhaps with a MAXimum light level of something very low.  Torches and such would have little or no effect.  Higher difficulty level overall compared to Nether.  Minus the lava.  Difficulty would be in the mobs rather than the environment.  I prefer having to fight my way through rather than tip toeing around to avoid falling into a pit of lava.

  If this biome would to be added, it would have to be so hot you couldn't survive without potions are special armor. I like to think of the nether as the "mantle" of the overworld, so this dimension would represent the core, and should have VERY rare, hard to get ores and difficult mobs. Good idea!

  If this gets implemented, the Sub-Nether Portal would have to be of an expensive, late game material. Netherite is the perfect candidate, and a few people have suggested a Soul Stone Flint & Steel, which I think would complement it perfectly.

  Netherite seems a bit expensive for portals.  Perhaps crying obsidian, or whatever the new one is called.
